I think I’m going to be like one of those homeless people on the street who holds up the sign saying “Will Work For Food” but instead, I will have an Ass for Gas sign. Sheesh. Short of selling my kidney, what’s a girl to do without going broke just to get from point a to point b. Really, gas prices are ridiculous, then I hear on the radio that gas will leap 20 cents by the end of the week because of Hurricane Katrina. Damn you Katrina. I’m sure this will probably get me in trouble with the environmentalist but if drilling in Alaska will get me cheaper gas, then move over caribou!! I don’t pretend to know how this all works, but hey, can’t a girl fill up her tank without digging in her coin jar. Yea, I know, it’s pretty pathetic. Some say it’s the war, some say it’s because the US depend on it so much, others say it’s because they won’t tap into the reserve. Well whatever it takes to not make me puke when ever I go to the tank, I’m all for it.

I’m neglectful

Howdy all. I’ve been a bad bad girl. I should be posting to my blog with more regularity, but I have been so lazy. Since I last posted, I’ve been on vacation. Gone to a family reunion that wasn’t really and family reunion and done took two big steps towards securing my future. What you ask? I’m not telling!!! ~ Only because I’m extremely superstitious and don’t want to jinx myself, but when I hear some news, I hope it was be the good kind. Anyway, I started a new free story on my Yahoo group called The Reunion which takes off where The In Crowd left off. To anyone who had read the first installment of the In Crowd on this site, I swear it’s a totally free story. The rest of it is posted in the file section in my yahoo group. It follows the life and times of April Johnson, my big beautiful heroine with a heart of gold.
For all of you waiting for the next installment of Blood Brothers, fret not. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s being released next month!! Yea!! I still can’t believe the overwhelming response I’ve recieved for this book. I hope everyone enjoys Niccolo’s story as much. He’s a complicated character, but there will be more GianMarco and Maggie and ooh la la, more Dante. Yea!! For some reason I get lots of inquiries on him. Right now I’m working on Romeo’s story. He’s something else I must say. I’m also working on Descendants 3 which I hope to have finished within the next couple weeks. Also working on a contemp and an action suspense story. Can you tell how busy I’ve been keeping myself? Oh yea, I have one more project which is going to be a collab effort with a couple author friends of mine. Lately my left hand has been killing me. I’m pretty positive it’s the same thing that happened to my right hand three years okay when I had surgery on it. No, it’s not carpel tunnel. I wish. Going to get some more tests done to prove to the doctor it is what I told him it is. Hey I don’t need a fancy degree to know the kind of pain I’m feeling is the same kind I felt before. *sigh* Doctors. I guess why they say they “practice medicine” I fear that more surgery is to come but I’ve done it before.
